Kids are at mums house for two nights which meant hubby and I just got to do a yoga session, infrared sauna and then a quick jump in the pool, all by 7am. Nothing we can’t normally achieve before 7am even when the kids are here but it’s funny how parenting can break up the self care routines....so much is needed from you and by you when raising small humans but don’t forget that all that energy pouring out of you needs to be poured back in or you are out of balance.
Is there something you can claim back even if it’s just one small thing? A 10 minute walk or meditation? A class that you might be missing? Book club? Just wanted to start the thought ball rolling for you this Monday morning!
